A history of commitment:
Schaeffer Mfg Company was the first major lube supplier to the global mining industry to introduce solvent free technology for open gear compounds.
Soy Ultra® and Soy Shield® led the way as fuel additives for customers concerning about renewable resources. Today, Schaeffer Bio-Treat™ protects biofuels during storage and helps them burn cleaner and more efficiently.
Wet-Sol® and Wet-Sol Gro® reduce the need for pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers in agriculture applications by helping farmers increase their yields without increasing their impact on the environment. These products also dramatically reduce the amount of water needed to grow crops in drought prone areas.
Schaeffer's proprietary additives, Micron Moly® and Penetro®, reduce energy up to 5%. These additives reduce temperatures and help extend lubricant life as well, cutting the impact of lubricant disposal on the environment.

Airtight Tire Sealant. is a revolutionary, biodegradable tire sealant. This product is not a patch; it truly seals tires, keeping them properly inflated for maximum fuel economy. Tire life is extended; keeping them on the road longer, which means fewer discarded tires to dispose of.

Schaeffer’s Bed Release Agent is another of our environmentally safe products. In addition to being biodegradable, this product out-performs environmental toxins such as kerosene, diesel fuel, and various soaps to provide clean, rapid and easy separation of asphalt, dirt, gravel, etc. from dump truck beds.
