Our engine teardown video features a 550 horsepower C-15 Caterpillar diesel engine with 1,055,000 miles and all original parts. Schaeffer's Supreme 7000 diesel oil was the only oil used in the engine. Even though the engine was not experiencing any issues, the customer decided it was time for an overhaul. Several components such as the camshaft, were reused and given Caterpillar’s 4-year extended warranty.
