Steve Brewer Promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Schaeffer Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Steve Brewer to Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. As Schaeffer grows toward our $150 million goal, we need expanded leadership. In his new role, Steve will oversee the Sales Department's recruiting and training program, the Marketing Department's branding initiative, as well as develop new channels of growth for the future.

Here are a few of his accomplishments as VP of Sales: he developed the recruiting program from $700,000 to $1.5 Million in New Business New Hires, doubling our hiring results. He founded the CLS program and with the help of the Tech Support Team, he developed one of the most successful CLS programs in the country. He also developed a team approach to develop National Accounts like Tyson.

Steve joined Schaeffer Manufacturing Company in 1989 as a field sales associate. In 1991, he moved to the technical department as the Industrial Manager and worked with steel manufacturing, aluminum processing, key account management and the food industry. During this time, he had oversight of the Company's ISO Certification Program. In 1998 he moved to the Sales Department as the Sales Manager and was promoted to National Sales Manager in 2000. By 2002, Steve was made Vice President of Sales and oversaw the 400 rep sales force.

He focused on key market growth, recruiting and training programs as well as leading the Strategic Planning Process from 2003 until 2009.

In 2008, Brewer was promoted to VP - Sales and Marketing and began to oversee both the marketing and sales departments. He oversaw the expansion of the racing line, upgraded packaging, improved sales literature and sales tools and continued to focus on the recruiting and training of the sales force, including the addition of the CLS training program.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri Baptist University and graduated summa cum laude. He has maintained an active membership in the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers since 1996. He received his Certified Lubrication Specialist designation in 1999.
