Wet-Sol® 99 (#235) spreader-sticker is a biodegradable, non-ionic surfactant that aids irrigation and weed control. Schaeffer's Wet-Sol® 99 is used to enhance the performance of agricultural herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides that call for the addition of spreader- sticker. Wet-Sol® 99 provides quick wetting, more uniform coverage, and increased penetration of sprays. Wet-Sol® 99 is ideal for aerial applications and where reduced spray volume is desired.
For Use as a Soil Penetrant: For spray irrigation Wet-Sol® 99 may be injected into the spray equipment at the rate of 16 ounces to 32 ounces per acre during the initial irrigation. When low rate is used on initial irrigation, use additional 16 ounces per acre in mid-season for best results.
For General Herbicide Wetting: Use 4 ounces per acre.
For Use as a Spreader-Sticker: Wet-Sol® 99 is effective at 2 ounces to 6 ounces per 100 gallons soft water and 4 ounces to 8 ounces recommended with medium to hard water.
For specific rates refer to product labels. When spraying mature weeds or when hard water is used, the higher rates are recommended. The user must have experience in mixing and handling solutions to which Wet-Sol® 99 is added, and the user should conduct a compatibility test of the solutions on a small scale before mixing in large quantities.
