CPC Commodities is a family-owned business in South Central Kentucky that manufactures and distributes superior quality livestock feeds and nutritional supplements.

Their plant has four large Volvo L70G loaders that work night and day, seven days per week. Before using Schaeffer's Simplex Supreme, they were using a major oil company brand of Universal Tractor Hydraulic Fluid (UTHF) in the front and rear differentials and hydraulic hoses of their loaders. After switching one of their loaders over to Schaeffer's #315 Simple Supreme UTHF, temperatures on these components dropped by an average of more than 26°F (as documented by theromographic imaging).

Now, all four loaders are running on Schaeffer's #315 Simplex Supreme, and they are running cooler than ever!

Chris Pierce, Nancy , KY

Chris Pierce raises over 5,000 acres of corn and soybeans in Central Kentucky. In 2015, he was named National Young Farmer of the Year for the entire American Farm Bureau Federation. He is also professional advisor for the Kentucky Young Farmers Association.

Before switching to Schaeffer's #315 Simplex Supreme fluid, the OEM brand of hydraulic fluid he was using in his Ag-Chem RoGator 854 Spray Coupe was foaming excessively. This resulted in hydraulic system temperatures of 195°F and charge pump pressures of only 225 psi. After switching to Schaeffer's #315 Simplex Supreme, his system temperatures dropped to 160°F and his charge pump pressure is up to 400 psi (resulting in better unit function).

Chris also uses Schaeffer's SynShield 15W-40 engine oil, #227 Moly Roller Chain Lube, #190 Penetro-90 penetrating oil, #238 Ultra Supreme grease, #293 Supreme Gear Lube, #139A SoyShield diesel fuel supplement, #266 Citrol, #163 Rustop, #233 Wet-Sol surfactant, and #743 Schaeffer Seal tire sealant.

When company owner Tim Thompson's 2005 John Deere 544J Wheeled Loader began experiencing problems with its mast, Tim disassembled the mast assembly for repairs. It was the first time it had been removed since leaving the factory where it was assembled.

In the process, Tim and his crew were able to inspect the pins and bushings in order to evaluate the performance of Schaeffer's grease. What they saw was almost too good to be true: the factory original pins and bushings--with over 23,000 hours on them--showed almost no signs of wear.
