MY SCHAEFFER-MONTANA CONNECTION
Growing up in Arizona, Glenn’s love for the frontier heritage and its singular pioneer character blazed his trail to Montana some two decades ago. Glenn’s deep respect for the noble spirit of the people who carved out their lives by taming the West’s hard-scrabble country led to his life-long work in the fields of Energy, Ag & Landscape Development, History & Communications.
His discovery of the SCHAEFFER Montana connection revealed America’s oldest lubricant maker and its supporting role in Montana’s earliest communities through its greases & oils that moved the Westbound pioneer wagon trains and river boats.
Prior to being hired in 2012 by SCHAEFFER OIL as its Western Montana Representative, Glenn was one of eight national branch managers for Maxum Petroleum, the largest distributor of Shell, Valvoline, Chevron, Citgo, Motorcraft & ConocoPhillips.
His avid interest in mountain biking & fly fishing made his move to Montana a natural fit.
