Schaeffer teamed up with Ranken Technical College to find out how a customer's million miles Ford 5.4L gasoline engine looks after running exclusively on Schaeffer Oil.
The experts were shocked to see the condition of this workhorse. Even the engine's main bearings still had the manufacturer's original numbers inked on them.
Dave and Tom Ronson of Ronson Trucking switched to Schaeffer's Supreme 7000™ Synthetic Plus 15W-40 engine oil and extended their oil drain intervals from 10,000 miles to 30,000 miles using the Schaeffer oil analysis program. This has saved time and money by using less oil, filters and labor. They also use the gear lube, #221 Moly Ultra grease and they have found the Citrol degreaser works very well for cleaning the sludge from a radiator with oil cooler contamination. Both Dave and Tom are very satisfied with Schaeffer products.
